SemText element
You wrap the whole document in it once. Inside, plain HTML and sem-* elements mix freely. Extraction reads everything inside the wrapper; the browser treats it as an ordinary container.
Example
sem-enhanced-document.html
source
1
<sem-enhanced-document>
2
<h1 data-kind="title">Auth notes</h1>
3
<sem-note variant="tip">Ordinary HTML and sem-* elements mix freely inside.</sem-note>
4
</sem-enhanced-document>
